The lineage we have worked with or developed was viewed as exceptional dogs by the prestigious Vom Mittelwest kennel owned by Julie Martinez. We were honored to be invited to develop, breed, and co-own some of our dogs with Vom Mittelwest. 

        We have also selected to affiliate with the world famous Vom Aldamar Kennel owned by Ryan Aras. Whelping, developing, and training puppies /dogs from these elite lines is the greatest of honors. The quality genetics involved are awe-inspiring. Hence why we have puppies available under three different kennel names.

 Our endeavors have allowed for our dogs to participate in many activities encompassing the conformation/show ring, Schutzhund sport, therapy work, search and rescue, and of course as the greatest companions ever.

As breeders, we carefully select the genetics that will imbue our puppies with the greatest potentiality. All breeding stock has been titled in Schutzhund (SCH, IPO, IGP) They have stood up to the rigors of tracking, obedience, and protection work along with the competition in the conformation ring. Hips and elbows are x-rayed and certified by the German SV. All are Breed Surveyed as recommended for breeding by the German SV.

Producing only one to three litters per year allows for us to spend a great deal of time assisting the puppies in their development and care. We utilize a Early Neurological Stimulation program to create Super Dogs. It is in the early development that a puppy emerges with his personality. It is this critical time period, which pups must be nurtured and developed to assist in the formation of what the puppy will become the rest of his life.

OUR BREEDING PHILOSOPHY 

The dog is man’s best friend for many reasons. From the beginning, a symbiotic relationship was formed. People domesticated canines to assist them with many tasks including hunting, herding, protection, and even transportation. Dogs were happy to please their new friends to have shelter, share food, and companionship.

Throughout time a variety of breeds developed through the process of genetic selection for the various tasks people desired. These breeds are part of history. These original breeds need to be preserved with the breed’s magnificence.

The German Shepherd is truly one of the most intelligent, loyal, athletic, and obedient of all the breeds. Their abilities have enabled us to utilize their skills for many jobs. Herding, Police K9, Search and Rescue, Service Dogs, Personal Protection, Scent Dogs, and Companion Dogs are some of the categories the German Shepherd excels. 

We believe the SV of Germany, has the heart of breed’s best interest in mind. After all, The German Shepherd was first developed in Germany. Our breeding program models after the criteria set forth by the SV. We title, show, trial, and compete under judges from Germany. All SV regulated events and structure set forth to maintain the breed without diluting it or its’ intentions are adhered to.

When selecting dogs for breeding, it is imperative to use only which have been approved by the SV in all aspects.  Approval by the SV of both the hips and elbows through radiographs of the dogs is important to curb or eliminate hip dysplasia in the breed. All breeding stock must have this accomplished.  

Titles are proof of the temperament of the dog. The performance ability to track, be obedient under many situations and commands, as well as the courage to defend and protect against an assailant are all observed by the SV judges. Titles are an incredible way to proof the dogs. 

Dogs are shown and scrutinized to follow the exact standard set forth for correct structure.  The breed remains consistent to its’ objectives to create a strong and healthy body that moves and performs accurately without structural related hindrances. This is yet another manner of proofing.
